At Omachi Grace Foundation, we believe that true empowerment begins with meeting the most basic human needs. As part of our ongoing commitment to vulnerable communities, we recently carried out a special initiative in Otukpo, Benue State, where we provided food and clothing donations to widows facing economic hardship.

Why This Initiative?

Widows in Nigeria, especially in rural areas like Otukpo, often face significant social and economic challenges. Many struggle to provide for their families due to limited access to resources and support. Our foundation recognizes the importance of uplifting these women, many of whom are the backbone of their households, through acts of kindness and empowerment.

What We Did:

During the outreach event, Omachi Grace Foundation provided essential food supplies and clothing to over 100 widows in Otukpo. The donations included:

Food items such as rice, beans, Garri, and cooking oil, ensuring that families would have nutritious meals to last for weeks.

Clothing items for women and children, helping them meet their basic needs and offering comfort and dignity.

The event was more than just about donations—it was a day filled with hope, compassion, and solidarity. Our team had the opportunity to speak with many of the women, learning about their challenges and aspirations, and sharing words of encouragement and support.

The Impact:
